Appeal hearing set for Thursday 17 June

Lawyers representing the Chagossians will come before the Court of Appeal on Thursday 17 June, to seek permission to appeal last October's ruling denying them compensation for their ordeal.

 

The appeal judges will be Dame Elizabeth Butler-Sloss (P), Sir Stephen John Sedley (LJ) and Sir David Edmond Neuberger (LJ).
